BITimpex Anshtalt Ltd. has launched the second phase of its farm in Crimea, producing Australian red-claw crayfish, Californian red crayfish, lobster, and blue yabby crayfish. Completion of the second phase is scheduled for November 2026.

BITimpex Anshtalt Ltd. has launched the second phase of its farm in Crimea, producing Australian red-claw crayfish, Californian red crayfish, lobster, and blue yabby crayfish. Completion of the second phase is scheduled for November 2026.

The complex comprises eight buildings for maintaining crayfish in a closed aquaculture system. The pools cover 25,370 square meters, while the production facilities occupy 23,275 square meters. The land is owned by the holding company BITimpex Anstalt LTD. There are four artesian wells. The farm is equipped with its own substation and backup diesel generators. A boiler house is also on site, effectively maintaining the temperature in the pools and the facility. The mature section of the farm is designed to grow and maintain up to 2 million crayfish.
