Larch

Larch is a heavy-duty material among conifers, has reddish-brown wood of high strength (stronger than oak) and moisture resistance. All of Venice in Italy stands on stilts made of larch. Larch is used in the furniture and construction industries, for carpentry and mosaic work. Used for production of sliced and peeled veneer.
